Part of Romania country (located in Southeastern Europe, bordering the Black Sea, between Bulgaria and Ukraine),  the Suceava county consists of the south of Bucovina and the nort-west of the new land of Suceava, whose capital is Falticeni, created in 1780, after Suceava and Northern Moldavia were occupied  by Austria in 1775.
